Activities
During lavender season, we have 50 varieties of lavender to view, with most available for U-Cut – making for exceptional photo ops and truly unique lavender bundles.
Visit our farm store for fresh and dried lavender bouquets, lavender bud, and lavender essential oil. We also offer bath, body, home, and culinary products all handmade with lavender bud and essential oil distilled from our own plants.
Stop by the copper still to learn something about the essential oil extraction process, and sample from more than 20 varieties of lavender essential oil!
Come stroll the fields and take advantage of amazing photo ops of our multi-colored lavender field and historic dairy barn.
Benches and picnic tables are located throughout the property. We invite you to bring a picnic, a good book, or just your camera, and stay all afternoon!
Admission to the farm is free – even during Sequim Lavender Weekend!
You do not need a reservation to visit the farm. You are welcome to stop by any time we are open to the public. See hour open days/hours above.
- If you take the Edmonds/Kingston ferry, the drive is approximately 1 hour from Kingston.
- If you take the Seattle/Bainbridge ferry, the drive is approximately 1 1/2 hours from Bainbridge.
- If you drive around through Tacoma and over the Tacoma Narrows Bridge (rather than taking a ferry) it is approximately a 2 1/2 hour drive from Seattle.
During peak tourist season (July) the wait for a ferry can be very long on Saturday and Sunday – we recommend you drive around to avoid 2+ hour waits at the ferry terminal.
Pets are welcome as long as they are leashed. It can get hot – please don’t leave your pooch in the car! Please be careful around the chicken coop area, and be sure to clean up after them. We also have a Guest Water Bowl for our furry friends if they get thirsty.
Lavender Connection farm currently has more than 50 varieties of lavender to view, with most available for U-Cut – including white and light pink and every shade from lavender to dark purple. We offer significantly more varieties of lavender for U-cut than any other farm in Sequim!
In the Distillation Gazebo you can learn how lavender essential oil is extracted, and ask all the questions you like about the process. If we are distilling (Lavender Weekend – Labor Day) you’ll even be able to watch the process live!
At the Essential Oil Bar (in the Gazebo) you can compare the unique scent profile of 20+ different varieties. It’s like a wine tasting for your nose! And it’s always free to do.
Our Historic Dairy Barn and multi-colored lavender fields make for excellent photo ops. Snap away, and be sure to tag us @lavenderconnection so we can see!
Everyone, including professional photographers, is welcome to take photos while we’re open to the public. There is no charge for you to take photos, even if you’re a professional photographer! However, we do not open the farm after hours or on our closed days.
Lavender Connection farm is great for families, couples, and individuals of all backgrounds. You’re going to have a fantastic time – there’s something here for everyone. All are welcome at our farm!
We offer a free bundle of U-Cut lavender to all members of the military – More Information
Please don’t come onto the farm property when we’re closed. We know it feels like a public park, but we live here – the fields are our front yard. Also, our insurance doesn’t allow the public onto the property if we aren’t open/present. The “off hours” are time for us to do farm chores and relax after a long day/weekend of hangining out with you.
Thank you for your understanding. We love sharing our home with you, and we look forward to seeing you when we’re open!
We invite you to come visit the farm during the summer months when the lavender is in bloom.
